OnForce v 4.6

We’re pleased to announce the launch of version 4.6 of our platform. This release includes several new features that will make the platform more powerful and easier to use for buyers to find, manage and pay contract IT service pros, and for OnForce providers to manage the work they receive.

Buyer Routing Rules: The routing rules feature enables administrators, managers and staff members to save routing requirements and apply them when routing a work order. This simplifies routing when creating work orders or when using the API. Learn more by contacting your account manager or clicking here.

New WAP Functionality: Conditional offers can now be made through the WAP site, and when rejecting a work order, providers have the ability to request that they do not receive future notifications concerning that work order. For details, check out the related provider help topic.

Renamed and Redesigned Provider Command Center: The Online Office is now the Provider Command Center - and more than just the name has changed. The navigation now resides on the left side of the page, and the look and feel is aligned with the design of the Buyer Command Center. This brings us one step closer to our future vision for a unified Command Center for all OnForce users.

New Provider Command Center Features: New Provider Command Center functionality has been introduced with this release, including:
*Provider Supervisors can now manage multiple technicians through the calendar view.
*The work order search now allows providers to search by work order title.
*The withdrawal amount has been increased from $999 per day to $2500.
*Service through AT&T has been added as an SMS option.

Will the Buyer EVER be given the opportunity to respond to conditional offers with anything but accept or reject??? While the new routing feature appears to be a nice touch, I would MUCH rather have the capabilty within the work order to place a counter offer to the provider! It could be set up along the same lines as the “clarifyibg question” feature if need be.

Thanks for the feedback, David. Actually, what you describe is close to a concept that we’ve been kicking around a bit recently. I’m going to ask someone from our product group to reach out to you to discuss as part of their research. Again, thanks for the insights.

  3. Patrick Says:

The “My Custom Fields” is great… I love it.
Can no loger get totals in the accounting report; in fact the “accounting report” is basically useless. Can no longer customized the reports.
    This is unacceptable!

  4. Frank Says:

I would still like to see an option for a provider to cancel a conditional offer.

  5. John Says:

As a provider I do not like the lay out at all, and I have spoken to a few of the other providers also and none of them like the new layout. It is very hard to find what we need and makes it hard to find routed WO’s.

The navigation at the top of the page makes sense because that is the way most people find things in all applications used now.

I do on the other hand like to be able to get more then $999 out a day.
I also like the new features in WAP but would like to see when you view the open WO the notes that have been posted to the WO, plus a field where you can add notes to the open WO. Last thing that would be helpful is having the WAP show you the substatus of the open WO when you view it.

  6. Verlin Says:

I would like easier navigation to get to the routed work orders. The present layout is not clear as to where to go to get to them. Adding a link below Active WO would be a fix.
