OnForce is excited to announce the launch of version 4.5 of our platform. This release includes features and enhancements that will make the OnForce marketplace easier to use and enable our buyers and providers to gain even greater financial benefit, including:

Buyer Rebate Program: This is a newly created volume-based rewards program that enables buyers to earn rebates of up to 30% off the $11 OnForce access fee when their monthly work order totals hit certain volume thresholds. Based on the volume of work orders routed per calendar month, buyers will receive a portion of their OnForce access fees in the form of credit that is applied to their Buyer Command Center. Learn more about the Buyer Rebate Program.

Canadian Expansion: As we continue to grow our presence in Canada, we want to remind service buyers who need contract IT professionals across Canada that they can now use OnForce to find, manage and pay these service pros. We are actively recruiting more providers and continuing to build our marketplace, but we already have strong coverage in key metro markets like Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton and Montreal. Check out the Canadian marketplace at www.onforce.ca.

Revised Provider Commission Structure: Over the past year, OnForce has observed a dramatic increase in the number of high-value work orders in the marketplace (eg – micro-staffing engagements, weeklong work orders, etc). In these instances, our providers and buyers alike gave us feedback that the 10% fee was too high a price for providers to fairly incur. In response to this trend and the feedback from the marketplace, OnForce has implemented a revised provider commission model for work orders that are greater than $1,000.

This new commission structure is tiered and based on pre-tax work order price, including parts. It affects only those work orders that close at $1,000 or more. This new structure will be automatically applied to all work orders and providers. Check out the full details of our revised provider commission structure.

Active Work Orders Page: The Active Work Orders page in the Online Office has been updated to enable our providers to better organize and manage their work orders. Work orders are now grouped by status: Routed, Open, Problem, Cancelled, Awaiting Payment and Missed.

This new design also enables a provider’s work orders to be sorted by ID, Date Added, Date Scheduled, Appointment, Scope of Work, Location and Price.

Will OnForce PLEASE bring back the vital bit of info that USED to be visible, but is no longer so. That’s the END USER name! It USED to be visible in ‘Closed WO’s’ but is not now visible.

This helped me a LOT when I had to track down info for ‘repeater’ EU’s who wanted more work done. I could give the details from the old WO to the CSR who would generate the new WO. This was mainly for CUSA, with a few for other buyers. If I have 150 CUSA WO’s in closed status, it doesn’t help me all that much to know the buy - I’m after the EU name & contact info.

Having the EU name viewable helped me generate more work through the OF system with CUSA - that’s the bottom line…

  2. Sincraft Says:

This new tiered structure is a great step towards the right direction.

Great idea. Both Buyer and Provider will benefit, and in the long run - strengthen Onforce as a viable source for technically skilled professionals.

  3. LaTisha S. Blanchard Says:

    Great idea.

  4. JacksonBarr Says:

This is a step in the right direction. $1.00 off the access fee still doesn’t drive quality of the service tech though.

  5. Sokhen Says:

Darn wished it was implemented last year would have saved me thousands.

  6. scuzzy(scsi) Says:

This upgrade is exellent!; I can track my status and print reports with ease, and add absolute data to my excell spreadsheet for bugdeting purposes. thanks alot

  7. ComputerCoach Says:

When are we going to be able to update workorder notes via the WAP interface?

  8. AM Says:

Yes, when are we going to be able to update workorder notes and entering reasons for rejecting via the WAP interface?

Also, strongly suggest to Onforce to advocate on behalf of the Providers; that Buyers (PPN) that keep insisting on background and drug testing cover the expense of those tests.

  9. Aidas Ciziunas Says:

please look into calendar synchronization with yahoo or outlook or both, it would be a big plus for rim/smart phone users.

Also need more control for provider supervisors like: direct multiple email option directly from WO, multiple direct customized deposits options, work order customizations for supervisor(so only needed info can be emailed to regular provider), multiple service location separation.

Big plus would be to have option like multiple appointments for one work order so if WO is such we can mark it all on calendar without adjusting it after every trip.

also good addition would be to have( spent limit and min hour rate we have) plus minimum hours per trip option in profile. Cause if multiple trip needed and spent limit is 70 it will profile cause lets say $35 is min and 70 minimum spent limit but not for 2 trips. So buyers understand not toplay games on providers cause to get tech they will see 3 options which they will have to agree on - and that would give us much more protection and clear view what is provider minimum to get the tech on site even it takes 5 min to fix it the drive time both sides might be more than an hour.
