NEW YORK, April 26, 2006 – The board of directors of OnForce, the first and only online marketplace for on-site technology services, today appointed Kevin Gilroy president to lead the rapidly growing company in its next wave of growth. Gilroy, who was named senior vice president and general manager of OnForce in January 2006, assumes the position of president at the same time as his predecessor, Jeffrey Leventhal, is appointed chairman of the board. Gilroy becomes the top executive officer of OnForce, with ultimate responsibility for product development, operations, sales and marketing.

Gilroy, who earlier served in key top-management roles with Hewlett-Packard, said the OnForce business model and the talents of its people are its strongest assets. “As the escalating appeal of our business model continues to attract the attention of the IT industry, the talent, accountability and speed of our people will lead us to extraordinary achievement in the future,” said Gilroy.

This week marks the second anniversary of the first work order processed by OnForce, the only real-time marketplace in the service industry. In less than two years, OnForce has grown to a network of nearly 14,000 information-technology providers in virtually every U.S. ZIP code. OnForce connects businesses with technology specialists through an online marketplace that dramatically reduces the costs and time involved in implementing and repairing technology for businesses across the nation.

In January, OnForce boosted its growth by closing $15 million in Series A funding from General Catalyst Partners, an investment the company is dedicating to growing its client and provider base, investing in its employees and transforming the service industry.

“The board recognizes Kevin Gilroy’s extensive experience in managing exponential growth for one of America’s leading corporations and his deep background in the technology sector,” said Alan Weber, founding investor and member of OnForce’s Board of Directors. “OnForce will leverage his leadership to drive the company’s industry momentum and its next wave of growth.”

At Hewlett Packard, Gilroy was senior vice president and general manager of the small and medium business segment. He also served as vice president and general manager of HP’s Solution Partners Organization in its commercial-channel organization, where he was named Channel Executive of the Year by VARBusiness magazine.
